The HRC is the coordinating focal point for OVPR Human Resource issues and works closely with members of the HR Team [see below]. The HRC provides administrative guidance and oversight in all HR matters. Office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The HR Coordinator, Marty Welsch, is ready to assist you when it comes to your staffing needs. Marty will guide you with all position management issues such as job description and PDQ development, staffing options, performance evaluation, recruitment practices, search management, payroll information and the University exemption process. As the division OEOD Coordinator, Marty will also guide you through the search requirements of the Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity.

Administrative Professionals are those individuals appointed by the Governing Board as officers of the Board, officers or directors of administrative departments, and all such professional assistants to these officials whose appointments are by Board action. Also included are the professional staff and assistants of the Experiment Station, Cooperative Extension Service, and the Colorado State Forest Service. Certain research positions directly related to the educational process also are included in this category.
