Did you know?

Grant applications or proposals that involve care and use of animals require verification of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee approval. Verification is provided by the University Veterinarian performing a grant versus protocol comparison for congruence.
"IV.D.2. Applications or proposals (competing or non-competing) covered by this Policy from institutions which have an approved Assurance on file with OLAW shall include verification of approval (including date of the most recent approval) by the IACUC of those components related to the care and use of animals."
