Proposal Approval and Support System (PASS)
PASS is a Web-based proposal notification system developed by Research Services. It is the location to enter general information regarding planned proposals. PASS provides proposal notification to Sponsored Programs and Advancement & Strategic Initiatives; serves as the mechanism to obtain approval to submit to a Managed Sponsor; and offers the user a variety of search/report capabilities regarding planned proposal submission. PASS also contains a link to the Proposal Budget Spreadsheet (PBS) and a link to the status of active 5-3 projects.
Proposal Budget Spreadsheet (PBS)
PBS is a spreadsheet program used to assist faculty and staff in the accurate creation of proposal budgets. Please note that due to limited resources PBS is not supported on the Macintosh platform. PBS is based on the Microsoft Excel product so that functions common to both PC and Macintosh platforms will work on the Macintosh, however a significant number of functions such as forms printing are not compatible with the Macintosh. PBS requires Microsoft Excel 2002 or greater.
