Marty Welsch, Human Resource Coordinator
Marty Welsch has been with Colorado State University since 2001 and in the Office of the VP for Research (OVPR) since 2004. She was named HR Coordinator for the OVPR in July 2008 and acts as a liaison between the OVPR and the administrative units of the Human Resource division for the University. She is involved in implementing and monitoring University HR initiatives such as performance evaluations, position development, PDQ development and evaluations and overall policy interpretation. Marty also represents the Office of Equal Opportunity for the OVPR and its divisions on searches.
Marty is a 2009 graduate of the School of Education at CSU earning a M.Ed. in Education and Human Resource Studies. She is currently taking coursework to support program initiatives in the OVPR.
Marty has also taken on an active professional role in the Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) initiative on campus. This work includes program promotion with departments, serving as an invited instructor for a class session in Grad 544-Ethical Conduct of Research, coordinating and communicating compliance information to the departments, and data analysis for program evaluation.
